Virtual Concert: Live Music From Your Bedroom

With the current situation leading to a number of cancelled festivals and concerts, some artists have taken to live-streaming their music live for fans across the globe. Below we have compiled some of the upcoming exciting music that you can tune into from your bed – as well as where to go to watch!

15th May

  • Katy Perry is hosting a live Q&A and will be performing new music. Tune in on Amazon Live at 6pm.
  • EDC Las Vegas is hosting a virtual rave from the 15th May until the 17th May. Featured artists include David Guetta, Druke Dumont, and Kaskade. Tune in live here.

18th May

  • Jon Bon Jovi, Dolly Parton, Robin Thicke and more are performing a charity livestream on a new streaming site called Broadway On Demand. Find out more about the event and how to attend here.

20th May (and the 27th)

  • ‘We Found New Music’ is hosting an instagram live weekly raising money for the ‘MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund’. Tune in on their instagram, or visit their website for more info.

June 6th

  • Lady Gaga, BTS, Barack Obama, Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland and more are set to make an appearance on YouTube’s ‘Dear Class of 2020’ Livestream in honour of those who were set to graduate this year. More details about this event are set to be released on May 17th so keep your eyes peeled! It will be streamed by Youtube here.

Many other artists have also been going live on Instagram and Youtube including YUNGBLUD, The 1975, Radiohead, John Legend, Kesha and Lauv – some of which I have managed to tune in. So, keep an eye on your favourite artists and let us know if you tune into any live concerts!
